What it takes to be a Foundation Consultant.

We’re looking for a new generation of talent who have the drive, energy and ambition to be our future stars.

We want people who are inquisitive, hungry to learn and ready to absorb.

We will help you tap into your potential, no matter what your discipline. Show us what you’re made of, what you’ve done, and the skills and positive attitude you can bring to our team.

You will work closely with one of our Lead Consultants who will be committed to helping you grow and develop rapidly from Foundation Consultant to Lead Consultant and beyond.

As a Foundation Consultant you will be:

Delivering Perfect Projects: the foundation of any client project is sensational forward planning and operational excellence. As a Foundation Consultant you will be totally responsible for producing the project - from finding amazing venues to host our workshops, to managing the logistics on events with anything from 10 to 1000 participants, to making sure your team is fully prepared and in the right place at the right time, whilst always working to an agreed budget.

Sharing Powerful Thinking: you will work closely with the Lead Consultants helping them create and design innovative workshops, projects and live events to power collaborative thinking for our clients.

Creating memorable experiences: you will help our clients to unleash their collaborative potential by creating and managing unique experiences to help give them new perspectives on the challenges they face. As a Foundation Consultant you will ensure that our clients have a stimulating and inspirational experience every time they work with us.

How we will help to develop you.

We believe that your career is your adventure. All our training, experience and client exposure is focused on turning you into a trusted Collaboration Consultant; someone with deep collaboration consultancy experience and expertise who is able to become a future leader at The Collaboration Company.

We will invest in your development from your first day. You can look forward to mentoring from some of our most successful consultants. The training you’ll receive will be wide spread and practical. It will combine sessions that focus on critical soft skills as well as the core capabilities you’ll need to develop into a trusted and successful consultant.

Our training will help you get the all-round skills for success but it will be your experience that will really make the difference, which is why the variety of live project work we’ll give you will be so important.

We have a small team structure which means you will be in the room with senior leaders from the start.

You will be partnered with a Lead Consultant as your mentor who will have a vested interest in your development and who will guide and sharpen your consultancy skills.

They will coach you, guide and challenge your thinking.

2. REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates with at least 1-2 years experience post education.

Our Foundation Consultants come from a variety of backgrounds; from teachers to charity workers, project managers to social entrepreneurs, theatre producers to talent scouts  - your background is not as important as your attitude.

We look for people with exciting minds, who are prepared to rattle cages and who have the ability to learn quickly.

People thrive with us if they have well-rounded capabilities with a proactive, driven and people focused approach.

A dedicated team player, you will have strong communication, project management and problem solving skills.
