You’ll be working in a collaborative team so you won’t fly solo, but you’ll have experience in and a strong passion for, owning and leading business development activity.

 
The purpose of this role.

You’ll be proactively promoting and selling our core products and services through the co-development and ownership of our new client business strategy. You will manage and develop new client prospects, and take a consultative selling approach to maximise return on existing client relationships. You will focus on developing business in the UK, whilst activating global business growth opportunities.


What you’ll do to succeed.

  • Execute the sales strategy for growing client partners across our core leadership development programmes.

  • Successfully manage our client prospect databases, building a clear pipeline of prospects.

  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospect initiation, conversation, proposal pitch, through to conversion.

  • Develop impactful marketing materials to support the client sales strategy.

  • Contribute to the company profitability targets.


How you’ll do this.

  • Plan and prioritise sales led activities across clients/prospects towards achieving agreed business targets.

  • Develop a strong knowledge of our core products and services along with a brilliant understanding of your key target audience.

  • Skilled at relationship management and relentless in the delivery of the sales strategy that ensures client prospects are managed and targeted throughout the calendar year.

  • Collaborate with and learn from the existing team, working closely with the lead consultants in the conversion of new client prospects, and the retention and development of existing clients.

  • Communicate and articulate our offer with confidence, credibility and conviction.



What would make you successful.

  • Demonstrable experience in consultative B2B sales: securing new business and growing existing clients.

  • Able to influence at all levels and be credible and convincing in front of senior decision makers.

  • Proactive, results oriented and goal focused.

  • Comfortable working in a small organisation, yet in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Self-starter who enjoys managing own time, pipeline and overall workload.

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.


In return.

  • Remote working as the norm, with fortnightly travel (most likely midlands) to collaborate face to face with the team.

  • Salary of up to £50,000 pa.

  • Annual discretionary bonus of up to 30% salary based on company performance.

  • Company pension scheme and private healthcare.

  • 30 days holiday excluding bank holidays, plus additional time off over Christmas.
